IRIZAR TVS was formed in the year 2002 as joint venture of three equal partners viz., Ashok Leyland Limited, TVS and Sons Limited & IRIZAR, S. Coop, Spain. From June 2014 the company name was changed to GLOBAL TVS BUS BODY BUILDERS LIMITED and the joint venture is now between Ashok Leyland and TVS & Sons Private Limited.
