Serendipity amidst of chaos and uncertainty

This is a story of two Customer Support Executives at Pune- Vikky and Shriram.

Mr. Vikky Kumar works as a Customer support executive (CSE - Parts) in Pune. He belongs to Patna, Bihar and had just moved to Pune for this new role. He moved to Nigdi, which is a Logistic/Transport hub of Pune.

With the announcement of the lockdown, Vikky was suddenly at sea. He was stranded in a new place without access to food as he was relying on outside food.

Let’s move onto Shriram, who used to handle the entire Pune region and is currently stationed at Kolhapur. When he was contacted to help Vikky, he put in all his efforts to find a solution using all his old contacts in Pune to help his new colleague whom he had not even met. Much like the old proverb says, “if there is a will there is a way” he found 4-5 tiffin services which were still providing food to people and immediately connected Vikky to them.

Vikky did not only use the service of the tiffin centers for himself, but he also helped the local mechanics and drivers by connecting them to these Tiffin Centers. Also, with Vikky’s wife being pregnant in Patna he had decided to stay back in Pune at his PG to remain safe, heathy and to support the lockdown in the country’s fight against Corona Virus.

We are proud of Vikky and Shriram!! You have truly lived by the philosophy of Aapki Jeet. Hamari Jeet.
